Luang Prabang World Heritage Town

 

It seems to be a small paradise which is nestled between two rivers and a sight of rich history and charm. This is ancient former royal capital the city of Luang Prabang, an enthralling town surrounded by green mountains amazing tourist sights between majestic Mekong and little Nam Khan river.
Luang Prabang has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995 which protects the town, it's historic temples, the former Royal Palace and the classic French colonial buildings. Slowly moving modernity brings more and more people visiting the town, but it still remains a quiet little hide-away. It is a small town and you can reach everything by foot or bike. Come and dive into a rich history of mysteries and Buddhist religion. In the center of the city is Mount Phousi with a fantastic view of the town temples, monasteries and wats.
